SNUBA off West Bay: Breathe Underwater Without a Dive Course
SNUBA is the step between snorkeling and scuba: you breathe through a regulator, but the air comes from a tank floating on a raft above you, so there's no heavy gear on your back and no certification to earn first. You go down a few metres onto the reef off West Bay and stay there, looking at the coral instead of holding your breath above it.
A certified instructor is beside you from the briefing to the moment you climb out, which is why it works for nervous first-timers and for children from about age 7. The reef here is the same clear-water stretch that makes West Bay famous.
$120 per person, minimum 2 people, about an hour all in. An easy add-on for cruise-ship days and for guests staying in West Bay or West End.
