Night Snorkeling off West Bay: the Reef After Dark
The reef you swam over in the afternoon is a different place once the sun goes down. Lobsters and crabs come out, the coral polyps open to feed, and your underwater light picks out colours that daylight washes away. This one-hour guided swim is the easiest way to see it — and a good pick for the evening of a day you spent on the beach.
Departures are usually from the Black Rock area, though the guide chooses the exact spot each night depending on conditions, always between West Bay and West End. Full equipment, an underwater light and the guide are all included.
$95 per person, minimum 2 people. Suitable from age 5 for children who can swim and come with a responsible adult.
