Glass-Bottom Boat over the West Bay Reef — No Need to Get Wet
Not everyone in the family wants to snorkel, and this is the answer for them. An air-conditioned boat with large viewing windows leaves from Foster's in West Bay and cruises slowly along the reef that runs right in front of the beach, so grandparents, small children and anyone who'd rather stay dry get the same view the snorkelers do.
The ride lasts 45 minutes. Through the windows you watch coral formations and schools of tropical fish up to 18 feet below, on a stretch of the second-largest barrier reef in the world. A good first-morning activity before you decide which snorkel or dive trips to book for the rest of your stay.
$55 per person; children under 5 ride free. The boat needs 4 people to depart — if you're fewer, message us and we'll look for a departure to join.
