Meet the Dolphins of Bailey's Key: a Waist-Deep Encounter in Sandy Bay
Bailey's Key is a small private island off Sandy Bay where a resident family of Atlantic bottlenose dolphins lives in a natural lagoon. This is the encounter for guests who want to be in the water with them without needing to swim: after a short briefing you wade in to waist depth, and a trainer brings a dolphin over so you can touch it, feel its skin and get the kiss-on-the-cheek photo.
The session in the water lasts about 30 minutes and round-trip transport is part of the price, so it works just as well from a West Bay apartment as from the cruise piers at Mahogany Bay or Coxen Hole. Departures at 8:30, 10:00, 1:00 and 3:00.
$115 per person. Minimum age 3; children aged 3 to 13 take part with a paying adult, and under-3s go free in an adult's arms. You may bring your own camera; professional photos are sold separately. Not available to pregnant guests.
